Double Header @ Citi Field: Mets Host Braves 5/1/2023

     

Quick Double Header @ Citi Field

         Today the Mets are hosting the Braves in a double header with game one taking place at 1:10 pm and game two at 4:40 pm Eastern. Game one we have two real studs starting on the mound with a matchup between Spencer Strider for the Braves and Denyi Reyes for the Mets. While Strider should hold steady through the afternoon, Reyes should get a boost from playing at home to hopefully keep competitive with Strider.

       After the first game wraps up, Game two at 4:40 pm will be starting not long after. The guys shouldn't be too tired after the game, but with the new pace of play rule and the games going quicker, maybe they'll be more worn out than you would think. The Mets should come out swinging in the second matchup and make the game a bit mor interesting.
